Think you need expensive brush cleaners to cleanse your brushes? Well, you don't! Follow these few easy steps, and your brushes will be like new.
What you'll need to get started:
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Anti-Bacterial Dish Soap
- Your Brushes
- Dinner Plate
- Cleaning Gloves or A Brush Cleaning Glove
- Towel for Drying
Put a circle of the olive oil, and the soap in the middle of the plate. Wet one of your brushes under the water. Then swirl the brush in the middle of the oil and soap.
Once coated, in a circular motion, swirl the brush in the palm of your hand. You will see the makeup coming off onto your glove. Next, keeping the brush part down, rinse the coating off under the water, until the water runs clear. Keeping the brush down, will keep water from getting into the barrel, which can break down the inside of your brush. Squeeze the excess water from your brushes.
Lay out your towel, and lay the brushes flat to dry.
